The backbone of quality teaching is strong instructional planning. I have a passion for creating meaningful and effective lessons through a robust pedagogical knowledge and comprehensive understanding of state standards. I plan on combining these resources to reach the diverse needs of my students. The cornerstone of my instructional planning will be using student learning data to guide planning, planning for differentiated instruction, and using higher level questions to activate higher level thinking skills while aligning lesson objectives to the school’s curriculum and student learning needs.
