Instructional Delivery

As a teacher I want to engage my students in active learning every lesson. I want to instill a passion for learning in my students, and to do this I plan to meet my students where they are developmentally. Differentiation is key to meeting my students’ needs and ensuring they feel successful with learning. In order to meet my students needs effectively, I will consistently check for student understanding and assess my instructional delivery based on student data. Not only will I make learning fun and meaningful for my students, but I will achieve this through using research-based methods that support my students’ needs.
Artifact 1: Engaging lesson on inferencing using a picture book to help students use what they already know with clues from the text to answer questions.
Artifact 2: Anchor chart made with the entire class on inferencing to check for understanding.
